| | Diwali (Festival of Lights)  Celebrate Diwali on Saturday, October 17th, starting at 6:30PM at the Temple. Light a lamp at 6:45 PM followed by Maha Aarti at 7:00 PM. We will have dances, children's fancy dress, Rama Lila , bhajans and much more followed by a Grand Feast. |
Annakut - Govardhana Puja Following Diwali, on Sunday, Oct 18, at 11 AM we will celebrate the Lifting of Govardhan Hill by Lord Krishna, The highlight of this year's celebration is the welcoming of Sri Giri Govardhan and Smt Radharani. They arrived few weeks back from Govardhana in Vrindavana and are one of the most beautiful Shilas in all of ISKCON.  We will welcome Them on Annakut not only with a big mountain of food but also with a MAHA ABHISHEKAM. We will bathe Them with milk, yogurt, ghee, honey and holy Yamuna water. Srila Prabhupada's Disappearance Day  We will remember Srila Prabhupada's departure from the world on Wednesday Oct 21, with a luncheon feast. | BSU Homecoming Parade: Thanks to the efforts of Tulasi Krishna (Taylor) and Amrita (April) matajis, we took Srihari Prabhu's small Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subadhra Deiteis in the parade on October 3. Several people on the parade route were dancing and chanting with us. |
