Indradyumna Swami Visit Recap!
Monday, 3.1.2010-Wednesday, 3.3.2010Indradyumna Swami's first visit to Boise was wonderful, especially for the children of our community. He stole their hearts. Maharaja was very appreciative of our community. In his words, "Boise is a nice town, nice community, with beautiful deities, and the perfect altar, - why would want to go anywhere else?"We had very ecstatic kirtans. Watch the rocking bookcase video. He was very impressed by our hospitality. According to him, he got the biggest welcome in the USA in Boise, with 25 singing and chanting devotees at the airport!We all look forward to his swift return to Boise. |

Friday, 3.19.2010- Monday, 3.22.2010His Holiness BV Madhava Swami is a disciple of Srila Prabhupada and an initiation spiritual master makes his way to Boise this month. Has spent a lot of time preaching on the famous Radha Damodar bus parties. He preaches worldwide especially in Russia and the Middle East. He is building a temple for Srimati Tulasidevi in Vrindavana. Festival: Sri Rama Navami

Sri Rama Navami, is the Holy Appearance Day of Lord Rama. We will be celebrating this festival with a special children's program depicting different personalities from the Ramayana. Each child will dress as their chosen character and give a short description of their past times. If you would like your children to participate please contact Srinivas and Sangeetha(SuRadhika) Palakal by email. We will also read from the Ramayana and sing Lord Rama's Bhajans.
A Grand Feast will be sponsored by Raj and Neerja Julakanti. Please make all efforts to attend this most special event! |
